4.Few divisions, add more lofts

Have an open plan. Having fewer divisions and partitions will make your interiors optimally spacious, airy, and flowy. Consolidate all rooms on one side of the interiors. You can opt for loft-type bedrooms or rooms in general to create a dramatic effect. Hence, with lesser partitions, the lights will be thoroughly shared throughout the interiors making a well-lit and electricity-conserving space. With fewer divisions and partitions, everything will be visible which will give a gigantic visual effect upon entering into the barndominium interiors.

6.Accent wall should use only two types of textures throughout the interiors

Choose a focal wall where you can apply decorative siding. Do not overly apply more than two textures for your accents. Shiplap boards are perfect as sidings but use only one color to make it look beautifully optimal as an accenting piece. Make sure it is the most visible part of your barndominium interiors. Furthermore, this space should be located in the most habitable room or frequently used workspace for utilization.

7.Great Ceilings

Open ceilings make your barndominium interiors so much like cathedrals. For exposed ceilings, use engineered and treated wood trusses. You can also use logs and paint with gray colors for a different approach to exposed ceilings. For wood trusses, black chandeliers, fans, and pendant lamps are perfect to hang on the structures, girders, and beams. Trusses should only have one color for a harmonized ceiling design that will look pleasing to the eyes and avoid a psychologically heavy feeling over the head.

8.Stone-accented fireplace

Whether you have a fireplace or not, it is great to have a stone accent in the barndominium interiors. You can choose a full-length narrow stone wall aside from the accent walls. These stone-accent walls or fireplace will add a rugged effect perfect for a barndominium.

9.Apply the best kinds of fabrics

To create a dramatic effect in your barndominium interiors, design your floorings with carpets and rugs to make it look cozier and dreamy. Match your rugs and carpets with warm white accent lights to achieve a fairytale-like area in every space. Make sure that you place your rugs and carpets away from areas that generate dust and tiny debris especially when you do your hobbies and tasks. Use heavy white or off-white tulle fabrics for the curtains to make the interiors feel cool but look warm and loungy.

10.Statement Pieces never go out of trend

A classic pendulum clock or a caryatid statue by the corners will add completion to your rustic or modern barndominium interiors. Whether you have a theme or not, any kind of figurines will be a decorative piece for your barndominium. If you can find bigger pieces, you can use it as a siding or centerpiece instead of a plain side table.
